held a surprise birthday bash for my friend last night, it turned out to be an awesome night, very tame and my lovelies cleaned up and made me breakfast.

i really enjoyed hanging out with my bio-med bums, and cracking economical and biological jokes… AL highly UN-PC… such a nice change. spilling beans and eating canned peaches, and i gotta add, the thrill of noise control was awesome…a tad frustrating but they were good… *aww they left me fridge notes.. i less than three them*

I had a really stimulating conversation with an 8 year old today. Jacquie’s youngest sister, the most adorable little person in the world. We were talking about ‘favorites’ our favorite vegetables, fruits, meats, colors etc. So I thought I would make a favorites foods list Just cause I really don’t want to study.

Favorite…

• Breakfasts- i love a good rice porridge. [with veges, chicken broth, and tofu]
• Lunch’s- when i’m at home i love a good around the table meal of fresh feta bread, tomato and egg soup, with some salad
• Dinner’s- our family use to have steak Fridays once every few weeks. those were good.
• Vegetables- i enjoy most things with chlorophyll. although i must say, bak choy broccoli, spinach, chui sum. are my favorite.. just don’t feed me carrots.
• Fruits- pineapple, watermelon, honey dew melon, plums, and nectarines.
• Berry [yes i know...fruit]-strawberries.. and boysenberries.
• Meats lol-lamb.. and medium beef. i can’t stand well done. and medium rare is pushing it, but i’ll eat it.
• Drinks-Strawberry Lush without bananas, home-made lemon honey drink
• Drink drinks-Tequila Sunrise with pulpy orange juice.
• Asian drink-Green Bean Slush [I'm on a Taro Ban]
• Dessert- You can never ever go wrong with lace crepes with vanilla whipped cream and fresh berries and chocolate.
• Asian dessert- Shaved Ice- Atrium Styles
• Pasta type-Fetticini, and Shells
• Soups- Seafood Chowder, and Mommy made Soups
• Restaurant- Red Elephant, Thai Friend, Tusk, China, One Tree Grill, [I love Thai]
• Take Away Food- Fish Pot. [totally not bias ] – Ask Zach hes living proof.
• Seafood- Snapper -Battered please , blue cod – steamed with chives and soy sauce hmmm… Calamari with Garlic Butter, Salmon and Tuna Sashimi, Salmon Steak.
• Muffin Flavor: Apple and Cinnamon
• Artist: of the few i know i love interpretations of Jacque Louis David’s Art as well as the entire Romantic movement in the early 1800s.. and of course the Manet.
• Flowers: White Lilies of the mountain, White Roses, white and purple roses, Lavender
• Favorite colors are: Red and White
• Day of the Week: Currently Wednesdays…Subject to Changes.
• Month of the Year:December- its hot, but not too hot.. and its choca-filled with sales.
• Brand Furniture: Urban Loft.
• Kitchen Utensil: The Egg Wisk
• Coffee: [how did i forget to mention this?]: double shot, soy flat white at the O.G.G. Building Cafe.
• Model: Gemma Ward.
• Magazine: Italian Vogue -for the pictures. Time or Scientific American for articles.
• Favorite Letter in the alphabet: A, I, R, S,
• Favorite Number: 24 [i'm sure there was a reason back in the day?]
• Favorite Past Holiday Destination: Li Jiang Old Town
• Public Holiday: Labour Weekend. Cause shops are still open..
• Hotel: I really enjoyed staying at the lodge in Li jiang. and Singapore Riverside Hotel with Yummy Food.
• Favorite Childhood Fairytale: Cinderella- it was the only one that didn’t make me cry/scared.
• All Time Favorite Book[s]: Narnia Chronicles, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Empress, Power of One.
• Fondest Memory: Having Coffee with my dad, and sister in Li Jiang.

i’m sure there are many more ideas. but i have to study and de-fragment my laptop.

Friday, again i miss my early morning law lecture, (its becoming a habit.. a bad bad habit) so 107 was my first lecture, the lecturer’s accent is actually pretty stimulating, but even still my lack of sleep refrains me from staying awake (yet again) Zie and I decided to invest in some caffeine, I ordered my usual [soy double shot flat white] and so my journey of caffeine begins.

The following 4 hours were both productive and frustrating (my laptop pooped up) so to “make myself feel better” I brought another double shot. =) Hmm that went down good… so good that when the caffeine started to kick in (about an hour later) I was twitching from side effects (much to Phillip’s disapproval and amusement)

This thus ends my quadruple shot day. How sad.
